His Perfect Will For You

Beloved, I pray that in all respects you may prosper and be in good health, just as your soul prospers.  3 John 1:2, NASB

You need look no further than 3 John 1:2 for a prayer that reflects what God’s heart for you clearly is. This verse is the reason you can know without a doubt that He wants you healed, healthy and fully provided for, just as much as He wants your soul to prosper!

Don’t go by human experiences to know if God wants His people healed today. If you say, “Well, I know of Christians who are sick,” I can point you to many others whom God has healed. We’re not called to base our believing on human experiences. We’re called to believe God’s Word.

Never put your eyes on people and their experiences, even good ones. The basis of your faith must always be God’s Word. If you are sick today, don’t focus on your symptoms or compare yourself with someone else. Meditate on His healing promises and believe that God still heals and blesses today because His Word says so!

Many believe they are too insignificant for God to care about them. So how interested is God in us today?

Then, as soon as they had come to land, they saw a fire of coals there, and fish laid on it, and bread… Jesus said to them, “Come and eat breakfast.” JOHN 21:9, 12

Realize that our God is not just interested in the big things that affect us. He bothers and cares about the minor things that affect us too. There is nothing too trivial for Him. So don’t be like some religious people who have this idea that God only wants us to bring the big issues to Him, and that He doesn’t want us to bother Him with small issues.

Nothing could be further from the truth. God cares about everything that you experience, from the small ulcer in your mouth to your concerns about the world’s economy. Even when you tell Him about the inconvenience that might arise if you’re running late, He takes note of that too. In fact, when you come to Him often about anything and everything in your daily life, you compliment Him because you are telling Him that He is your Daddy God who watches over you.

Jesus represented the Father’s heart and will when He was on earth. (John 5:19) He cared when His disciples were out at sea the whole night, cold and shivering. He cared when they caught nothing that night. (John 21:3) He cared that they would not have fish to sell. So He gave them a huge catch early the next morning. (John 21:5–6) He knew that they were cold and hungry, so He prepared breakfast for them, served over a fire of coals to keep them warm.

Jesus showed us that God is our loving heavenly Father who cares about the big and small things that happen every day in our lives. Nothing escapes God’s eyes, ever, because He loves you.  Don’t limit His love for you by making Him to big to care for you.  Trust Him with your life as the Father trusted Jesus’ life for yours!

Don’t Let Others Speak Death Over You

“No weapon formed against you shall prosper, and every tongue which rises against you in judgment you shall condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord,

and their righteousness is from Me,” says the Lord.

Isaiah 54:17

If you are familiar with today’s verse, you’ll know that believers usually quote only the first part: “No weapon formed against you shall prosper.”

Now, do you want to know the secret to unleashing this promise of protection, and walking fully in your inheritance in Christ?

It is actually right there in the second part of the verse: “‘…every tongue which rises against you in judgment you shall condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, and their righteousness is from Me,’ says the Lord.”

You see, it’s when you know that your righteousness is from the Lord that no weapon formed against you will prosper, and every tongue of accusation, judgment and condemnation that rises against you will fail!

Use your faith every day to believe that you are indeed righteous in Christ, and that this righteousness is of the Lord’s doing, not your own doing. This is how no weapon formed against you shall prosper. This is how you live an overcoming and victorious life!

Be Righteousness-Conscious!

Don’t allow others to speak condemnation, judgment or accusation into your life.

When someone says to you, “You’ll probably have breast cancer because your mother and her mother had it.” Or “That looks like arthritis in your hands.” Or “You’ll never amount to anything.”  All these words, and I’m sure you’ve heard many like them, are passing judgment and condemning you to a life of pain, failure and premature death.

They are words of death to a person that doesn’t understand they are the righteousness of God.  Do you see now why you need to be aware of who you are in Christ?

The enemy has many weapons in his arsenal that are trying to take you out and bring you down.  Even well meaning Christians will speak death words not realizing the power their mouth has to create strongholds upon those not fully understanding their position in the family of God.

I like to tell people that once you’re born into the family of God, you no longer suffer from anything your earthly family has suffered from.  If God doesn’t have it, and Jesus can’t catch it, then why would you think you’d suffer from it?  To be righteous conscious is to fully understand that “As He is, so are you in this world!”

Work At Resting

Let us labor therefore to enter into that rest…
Hebrews 4:11, KJV

There are so many things to do every day—prepare breakfast, drive the kids to school, finish up your presentation, chair a meeting, meet a client, counsel a friend…It’s like we’re always working on something!

Actually, if there’s one thing that we ought to prioritize working on every day, it is working at being at rest! Sounds like an oxymoron, doesn’t it? How can you work at resting?

Yet, that is exactly what God wants us to do. Given our inclination to work, worry and rush to finish all our tasks every day, He wants us to prioritize spending time with Him, and letting His love and words of grace flush out all our agitations, worries and fears.

Make laboring to enter God’s rest number one on your to-do list every day. When you are at rest, God’s grace can flow unhindered through you to accomplish—with ease--all which needs to be accomplished for the day.

Once you’ve reached that place of rest, everything you’re involved in flows smoothly.  Resting creates an atmosphere of abundance to flow without hindrance.  Experience an abundance of love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control.  Bear the fruits of the spirit when you rest in Him. (Gal 5:22-23)

Rest in the fruit of the truth that Father has already provided for you today. Receive it and thank Him for it!

What Preoccupies Your Thoughts?

EPHESIANS 1:3

Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ,

Some people think that the term “spiritual blessing” refers to only non-visible and intangible blessings like peace and joy. To them, God’s promise of “every spiritual blessing” excludes the tangible blessings of health, provision, a healthy marriage and so on. They say things like, “Don’t expect God to remove this tumor because our blessings are only spiritual.  You’ll be healed when you get to heaven anyway.”

Do you know what the word “spiritual” here means? In the original Greek text, it is pneumatikos, which in this context means having properties and characteristics belonging to the Spirit of God. So if you have the pneumatikos blessing of health, for example, it means that it is of the Spirit of God, and therefore does not depend on your exercising or dieting.  Not that I’m saying to not exercise or diet, only don’t do it only to attain good health.  Do it because you know you feel better when you do.

The same goes for the pneumatikos blessing of provision. It is of the Spirit of God and does not depend on our toiling seven days a week or monitoring the stock market closely.  We’re blessed when the job we have is a pleasure to go to and doesn’t control our every waking hour.

You must believe that you have received every pneumatikos blessing, and you will find yourself enjoying blessings that are eternal, just as God is eternal, and of a quality that only the Spirit of God can give!

What are eternal blessings?  I think first and foremost is to believe in His Son, but broken down in simpler terms, it’s to spend time with your family and friends.  Enjoying your life because you know you are free from the power of sin and death.  Sharing love with others brings joy to the Father’s heart.  We love because He first loved us.

So what do you think about the majority of time?  Is it love for others or is it worry and fear?  I believe we become what we think about the most.  In our thoughts roots are formed.  Are they roots of love or fear?

If our thoughts are the root then our words are the fruit.  Loved filled thoughts produce healthy words that bless.  Fear filled thought produce death.

Are you fearful about your job or health?  What you fear will come upon you.

“For the thing which I greatly feared is come upon me, and that which I was afraid of is come unto me.” Job 3:25.  Job feared for his sons lives because of their actions and speaking his fears caused that very thing to manifest in his life.  Before he could speak his fear he had to be consumed internally by it.

What consumes your thoughts?  “I’m approaching 55 and my dad died of a heart attack at 55.  I hope that doesn’t get me too.”  Every little pain in your chest becomes the precursor to your greatest fear.

Child of the Most High God, do you not know that you’ve been born into a new family?  Does your Heavenly Father have heart problems?  Does Jesus?  If they don’t have any problems then why do you expect it?

Even the world knows you get what you expect.  Only most of the time it’s not good they expect but bad.  “Be careful what you wish for, you might just get it.”  Haven’t you heard that before?  Does that even sound remotely positive to you?  Why would I have to be careful of what I wish for if it’s something good I want?

I like the definition of hope in the bible.  It’s a confident expectation of good.  The worlds version of hope is, “I hope I get this or that but you never know.”  Don’t we?

As a believer we are told over and over again the good we can expect from our loving Father.  But even believers read about the good and say I hope He will, but really what they’re saying is I don’t think He will, at least not for me.  Maybe someone else is more deserving.

Wake up child of God!  None of us deserve what the Father gives us but we get it anyway.  What a great system!  All bought for the price of one life, Jesus Christ.

Don’t waste what Jesus paid for.  Turn your hearts, and thoughts, towards His goodness and mercy.  Look up, not around.  Take your eyes off the things that are only temporary anyway and fix them on the eternal blessings of God.

Jump into the river of “great expectations”.  If the trees along the bank are thriving then the river of love and everlasting life you swim in is the cause.

What Is Perfect Peace?

Then He arose and rebuked the wind, and said to the sea, “Peace, be still!” And the wind ceased and there was a great calm. But He said to them, “Why are you so fearful? How is it that you have no faith?” Mark 4:39–40

I believe that one reason Jesus could calm the storm in this much-loved story was that He was the only one in the boat who was at peace. And what was within Him overflowed and affected the storm outside.

After Jesus had stilled the storm for His disciples, He corrected them for letting their hearts be troubled. And in His loving rebuke, He shows us how we can always have peace in our hearts. He asked His disciples, “Why are you so fearful? How is it that you have no faith?” In other words, “Why do you take so little from Me?”

God loves you dearly and has already supplied you with His health, healing, provision and protection through the cross of Jesus. When you know and believe this, fear will flee and peace will rule in your heart. And His peace on the inside of you will cause every storm in your life to subside!

So take much!  Draw from Him moment by moment.  When you live in peace, all around calms down.  Are your children out of control or pressures and deadlines at work about to overtake you?  Step into peace that passes understanding and watch everyone and everything around you line up into the power of peace.

When peace reigns in you, others sense it.  Know Who’s in control and others will fall into peace with you.  If God is for you, who or what can ever come against you? (Romans 8:31)

Psalm 91:5 says” Do not be afraid of the terrors of the night, nor the arrow that flies in the day.”  If God says do not be afraid, then He has the cure for your fear.  Take a peace pill from the gospel and rest day and night.  Rest assured His promises are always yes and amen!

NOTHING TO DO, ONLY BELIEVE

JOHN 6:28–29

…“What shall we do, that we may work the works of God?” Jesus answered and said to them, “This is the work of God, that you believe in Him whom He sent.”

When I first became a Christian, I was led to believe that once you accept Jesus Christ as the Son of God everything after involved some type of work.  Oh they didn’t say it exactly but they used the scripture, ‘working out your salvation’ to convince you that life, as a Christian, involved work.

I was shown and taught in a number of ways what amounted to nothing more than rules and regulations in the form of steps that you had to do to become a ‘better’ Christian. Then one day, I found the same question in the Bible. But the answer was very different!

In the Gospel of John, we find Jesus being asked the same question by the multitude that had been awed by His miracles—“What shall we do, that we may work the works of God?” The people had seen Jesus healing the sick, and feeding 5,000 men with only five loaves and two fish.

Notice how Jesus answered them: “This is the work of God, that you believe in Him whom He sent.” It appears the greatest doing is believing—believing in Jesus the sent one, who has done it all for you at the cross!

If you are asking, “What must I do to receive my healing?” the answer is this: Believe in Jesus, who “Himself took our infirmities and bore our sicknesses”. (Matthew 8:17) I’ve witnessed numerous healings and not one involved something they had to do. They had simply believed that Jesus bore their diseases on His own body. There was nothing for them to do, except to believe.  In the instances I witnessed, I happened to be in Colombia.  The people there don’t have a plan B, like insurance.  They were healed right before my eyes by only believing.

When the jailer asked Paul and Silas, “Sirs, what must I do to be saved?” they said, “Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and you will be saved, you and your household.” (Acts 16:30–31) The greatest miracle in your life happens not by you working and trying to save yourself, but by you simply believing in Jesus who died to save you from eternal damnation and to give you eternal life. Why then, should the lesser miracles of healing or financial breakthroughs be any different?

What is the miracle you need today? There is nothing left for you to DO, but everything for you to BELIEVE, because Jesus has done it all for you!  Instead of relying on Plan B, stick with Plan A, the Author and Finisher of our faith.

WHAT DO YOU SEE?

MARK 11:24

Therefore I say to you, whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you will have them.

I heard a story one time about a blind lady that was led to a great healing evangelist for prayer. After he had prayed for her, he asked her, “Now, tell me what you see.” She opened her eyes only to be told, “Close your eyes. Tell me what you see.” She opened her eyes again only to be told, “I didn’t say to open your eyes. I asked you what you saw. Close your eyes! Now, tell me what you see.”

This went on for a while, until the lady realized that the evangelist was asking her what she saw on the inside. Did she see herself seeing? When she understood that, she said, “I see myself with sight.” Then, the evangelist told her, “Now, slowly open your eyes.” That moment, she opened her eyes to perfect vision!

When you pray, what do you see inside you? Were you praying for someone’s healing, but seeing that person in a coffin? Were you praying for a financial breakthrough, but seeing the banks pursuing you till you were bankrupt?

You don’t get what you pray for; you get what you believe you receive when you pray. Jesus said, “Therefore I say to you, whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you will have them.”

“Whatever things” covers your every need. And believing that you receive them comes before having them. Jesus once told a centurion, “Go your way; and as you have believed, so let it be done for you.” The centurion’s servant was healed that same hour. (Matthew 8:13) The centurion believed that he received his miracle even before he saw it in the natural.

So when you pray, what do you really believe and see on the inside?

If you can’t see it then don’t pray yet. Change your vision on the inside first. Start seeing yourself with the answer.

If it healing you need, see yourself healed. If you’ve outgrown your house and are bursting at the seams, see yourself living in a bigger.

See yourself enjoying more than enough. When you can see it and believe it, then pray in faith, and you will have whatever you ask for!  The word tells us that the Father gives us the desires of our hearts.  What is your desire to receive?

Remedy For Sin

8/16/2014

Sin came in the Garden of Eden when Adam and Eve believed the serpent. He told them if they ate from the Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil, they would become like God.  They’d forgot that they already were like God being been made in His image. How much more like Him could they be?

Many today believe the same thing about themselves.  Instead of seeing that they’ve been made in the image of God they see only their lack and think they have to attain something more.

So what happened when they ate from this tree?  The Bible tells us that sin entered the world and death through sin.  I believe that it was God’s original intent for us to live forever, communing with him, and that when sin entered; death was the consequence of their action.

Does all sin cause death? Yes, I believe it does.  Why do I believe that?

Even though stealing doesn’t end a life like murder would, if you’re caught, wouldn’t it end your life, as you know it?  What if you’re not caught?  Would you continue to think that you were the same person you were before you stole?  What if a family member or friend found out and they distance themselves from you because of it.  That relationship you had with them essentially dies.

Maybe you think I’m splitting hairs here but hang with me.  Everything we do has a consequence to it.  Good and bad.

Sin, as we’ve been taught, has always been portrayed as an action, something we do, like Eve eating the fruit.

When sin entered the world death was the result of sin, right?

What other actions cause death?

If you gossip about someone and they find out you were talking about them, chances are the relationship you had with them dies.  Even if they don’t find out, the person you were talking to might start to think of you differently and not see you so favorably anymore.  Their perception of you changes and they lose trust in you and it changes the way they think about you.  Isn’t that a form of death?

What about adultery, another action?  One spouse cheats on the other and if the one cheated on finds out, their feelings for the cheater die.  They lose trust in that person.  Even if they don’t find out but contract an STD because of it, can’t that cause death?  The one cheating is killing the relationship by thinking they deserve something better or else why would they cheat.  In other words, their feelings have died for that person.

What about things that aren’t necessarily action based, like sicknesses?

Take cancer for instance.  Did we do something to get it?  No.  But just like the original sin brought death, it also brought things known to cause death.

The medical world is now telling us that stress can cause all kinds of problems.  Stress is nothing more than a lack of peace, which happens to be one of the fruits of the spirit.  So am I saying stress is a sin?  Yes, but not in the way we’ve always believed sin to be.

Let me ask you this…If you went around telling people you had cancer would you think that you were practicing sin?  No, you’d think you were telling the truth as the doctor confirmed through tests, right?  In actuality you would be telling nothing more that facts given to you by a doctor that deals in facts.

The truth is that Jesus died to free us from death.  ALL death.  We don’t get to pick and choose which we’ve been set free from.  He said ALL and He meant ALL.  I challenge you to show me one example in the Bible where Jesus refused to heal anyone.

So if Jesus went around healing ALL who were sick and oppressed by the devil why are we still walking around hanging on to death?

The New Testament tells us that, greater things than these would be available after His death.  If there was already healing and He died to conquer death, what’s the greater thing?

The one thing He couldn’t do when still alive was to save that person from living eternally without His Father.  It took His death to accomplish that.  So if that’s the greater thing, why do we view it as the lesser thing than healing?

I know you want to defend your beliefs and say you don’t view it as insignificant but are you walking around as a born again believer, perfectly whole in mind, body and spirit?

Many say that they have diabetes because it’s hereditary in their family.  Really?  Are born again?  So as a new creation your new family is Jesus and Father God right?  Do you think they suffer from anything the doctors diagnose here on earth?  Why do we hang on to those death sentences?

I believe that most, not all, of the people I know that hang on to their illnesses, telling everyone each little thing that’s wrong with them, are looking for attention.  Anyone would tell you they don’t want to be sick and die so why are they sick?

Most of the sick people I know are screaming to be noticed by those they love.  Spouses that do their own thing, living almost separate lives.  Tell me you don’t see this going on around you all the time.  Even single people are looking for attention but afraid to tell anyone they need to be loved or paid attention too.  Kids are acting out in school and at home because the parents are too busy to spend time with them.

Have you eaten out lately?  Sit in a restaurant and watch couples or kids on their cell phones texting or playing games while a real live person sits across the table from them.

To me there is nothing ruder than to be sitting at dinner with everyone around me on his or her phone.  It’s no different than whispering to each other and I’m not privy to what’s going on.

So here’s the bottom line.  People need to know they are loved.  If they don’t know how much you love them then how are they going to know how much the Father loves them.  And if they don’t know how much He loves them, than how are they going to know that sickness, adultery, lying, stealing, fear, cancer, high blood pressure, etc. has no place in their lives.

Love covers a multitude of sins.  Literally.  The Blood of Jesus is enough but without us showing love, how are others to understand just what they are free from.  Love truly does conquer all!

So where do we go from here?  Start paying more attention to those around you.  If you’re sick, look up, not at the illness.  Take your eyes off yourself and stop talking about it to everyone one you come across and start talking to your heavenly Father who is the only one who has already done something about it.

When you talk to the Father use faith filled words that the enemy has no choice but to flee from.  Have a confident expectation of good happening in your life because just as Job got what he feared by opening the door for the enemy to come in, so will you.

Close the door in the enemies face and know you are beloved of the Father and your ARE the righteousness of God because of Christ Jesus.

WHAT HAVE YOU BEEN SAYING?

PROVERBS 18:21
Death and life are in the power of the tongue…

Many things in life can cause us to fear—losing our jobs, deadly diseases, terrorist attacks and so on. When these things confront us, we tend to give in to worry and fear, and start talking about our fears.

Job was no different. He constantly feared that God would punish him and his family because he kept thinking that his sons had sinned against God. He would get up early in the morning to offer burnt sacrifices, saying, “It may be that my sons have sinned and cursed God in their hearts.” And the Bible tells us that he did this “regularly”. (Job 1:5)

So Job kept confessing the sins of his sons and fearing that something terrible would happen to him and his family. In fact, his sin-consciousness didn’t just produce fear, the Bible tells us that he “greatly feared”. (Job 3:25)

It is important that we understand that it was Job’s sin-consciousness that opened the door to Satan. His preoccupation with sins that his family may have committed gave Satan the opportunity to bring death and destruction into his life. God had a hedge of protection around Job. But when he started being sin-conscious and having a fearful expectation of judgment, the hedge was removed and Satan could attack him. (Job 1:9–12)

My friend, today, if you have sinned, don’t say, “I have failed again. I deserve to be punished by God.” Know that you already have forgiveness of sins because Jesus was punished and condemned in your place! (Ephesians 1:7) So say, “I am the righteousness of God in Christ. Jesus, You are my holiness and perfection.” (1 Corinthians 1:30; 2 Corinthians 5:21)

We must be mindful of what we believe and say regularly because “death and life are in the power of the tongue”. So when you hear of a deadly virus taking many lives, don’t say, “I’m next because I have not been a good Christian!” Instead, say, “Jesus, You are my righteousness and protection. Surely You shall deliver me from the snare of the fowler and from the perilous pestilence!” (Psalm 91:3)

Such believing and confessing not only please God, but they also shut the door on Satan so that he cannot make any inroad into your life!

Let me say this again…there’s power in what you say!

"Death and life are in the power of the tongue..." (Proverbs 18:21).

Learn how to confess God's Word and speak words of faith over every situation.

What you speak over yourself
has life-changing power!

Many believers have been taught to stop making negative confessions over their lives.

However, for some, even though they no longer declare sickness, poverty and dysfunction over themselves and their families, they are not experiencing change and God's manifested promises.

Let me explain with an illustration—if you left your lawn untended for a month what would happen? Would you come back to a neat, landscaped lawn? No, you'd see thorns and weeds instead of beautiful grass. Why? Because the natural tendency of the things of this world is to degenerate and to move toward the negative.

You see, the whole creation fell when Adam fell. The Bible says the whole creation is groaning in pain (see Romans 8:22). If you stop saying negative things, but don't say anything positive either, you're still allowing the thorns and weeds of this fallen world into your life.

When You Speak To The Father, The Devil Hears.

It's not enough to stop making negative confessions; it's time for you to boldly declare God's promises over your life.  Your boldness is heard not only by God but by the enemy as well.  Speaking out the word of God let’s the devil know that the negative does not rule you.

To overcome the negative,
you have to begin speaking the positive.

When you speak positive words—when you confess God's promises--you begin experiencing the manifested goodness and favor of God in unprecedented ways.

It's important to understand that the words you speak contain power, not because of anything you have done--it's because of what our Lord Jesus did on your behalf.

Revelation 1:5–6 tells us that Jesus, "who loved us and washed us from our sins in His own blood... made us kings and priests to His God and Father..." What does that have to do with the words we speak today? Let's see how the Bible interprets the Bible.

In Ecclesiastes 8:4, the Bible says "Where the word of the king is, there is power;" in Deuteronomy 21:5, the Bible tells us that by the word of the priest "every controversy and every assault shall be settled."

As a king, your words have power over every situation you face; as a priest, every assault of the enemy and every controversy will be settled by your words.

Perhaps you have a physical condition that doctors say you have to be on long-term medication for. Or maybe you have a debt that you just can't seem to pay off.

Through Jesus' perfect work at the cross, God has given you power and authority to change your situation.

Right now, you have a choice: you can allow your words to agree with what the circumstances of life are saying, OR you can allow your words to declare the truth of what God says about you.

I'm not asking you to ignore the fact that you may have sickness in your body, or may be in a current state of lack or that you might be struggling in any area of your life.

I'm asking you to confess the truth of God's Word in the face of the facts in your life. Death and life are in the power of your tongue, so speak life!

Jesus is the reason you can boldly confess health, wholeness, wisdom, abundance, restoration, favor, long life and so much more.

Because of Jesus, you can declare today:

   •     I am the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus (2 Corinthians 5:21)

   •     I am healed (Isaiah 53:5)

   •     I am favored (Psalm 5:12)

   •     I am a joint heir with Jesus (Romans 8:17)

   •     Everything I put my hand to will prosper (3 John 1:2)

   •     I am accepted and approved (Ephesians 1:6)

   •     I will have a long life (Psalm 91:16)

These aren't just some man-made, positive confessions. These are faith-filled, biblical confessions of God's goodness in your life.

This is how you line up your faith with those things God has already promised you!

Second Corinthians 1:20 says it this way...

For all the promises of God in Him are Yes,
and in Him Amen,

to the glory of God through us.

That means when you speak God's promises over your life, you are saying "amen" to everything God has already said "yes" to.

Your relationships, your business, your health, your family—every part of your life is impacted when you learn to speak faith-filled words on a daily basis.

You can live at rest, confessing the goodness of God, because His promises are yes and amen in your life.

Remember, there is power when you speak God's Word over your life. Confess His grace, His favor, His goodness and experience power and victory like never before.

WHAT you speak has an enormous impact on the kind of life you live. Your words have power, and your miracle is in your mouth!

When You Speak To The Father, The Devil Hears

When you speak the Word of God it’s not just God or your own ears that hear but the devil hears the words as well.  Why is this important?  Because when you say something enough times even he has to believe it.

When Jesus went into the desert and Satan came and tempted Him, do you think Jesus just stood there and thought his response?  No.  He came back at Satan with the spoken word.  It only took three times for the devil to see that Jesus was not going to be won over.

I’m sure you’ve heard it said that when you speak out the Word of God it’s not God you’re trying to convince but yourself.  They also say that it takes 21 days to become a habit.  I challenge you to spend the next 21 days speaking God’s promises 3 times a day.  You don’t even have to speak the same promises everyday.  Go on a treasure hunt to find which promises best apply to you.  Then say them in the morning, mid day and right before bed.

This isn’t a formula, only a challenge.  Be prepared to see the miraculous transform your life because God’s word is not without power.

Who Are You?

And the Holy Spirit descended in bodily form like a dove upon Him, and a voice came from heaven which said,

“You are My beloved Son; in You I am well pleased.”

Luke 3:22

Immediately after Jesus was baptized, He was led by the Holy Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted by the devil. The devil came to Jesus and said, “If You are the Son of God, command that these stones become bread” (Matthew 4:3). Now, don’t forget that Jesus had just heard the voice of His Father affirming Him with the words “You are My beloved Son.”

Notice that what the devil said omits the word “beloved”! God had just told Jesus, “You are My beloved Son.” But shortly after that, the devil came to Jesus, saying, “If You are the Son of God…” The word “beloved” is missing! The serpent had cunningly left it out!

For the devil’s temptations to work, he cannot remind you that you are God’s beloved. The moment you are reminded of your identity as God’s beloved in Christ, he will not be able to succeed! It’s no wonder that the devil wants to rob believers of their sense of being God’s beloved. So don’t fall for the devil’s trick. Remind yourself today and every day that you are God’s beloved!

Confusion & Condemnation or Compassion?

8/5/2014

LUKE 7:13
When the Lord saw her, He had compassion on her and said to her, “Do not weep.”

When faced with someone that is grieving whether from the loss of a loved one or a loss of a
job, which do you show them, confusion and condemnation or compassion? Do you try to
figure out what went wrong and place blame?

Did your loved one not go to the doctor soon enough or were they misdiagnosed? Did they
do a lousy job at work or had a bad boss, making their working conditions deplorable? Many
people are quick to blame others or themselves.

Whenever we face a trial Jesus is right there with us. He faced many of the things we face
today and is able to feel compassion for us instead of condemnation. He’s not confused by
what’s going on or doesn’t know why bad things happen. He told us in His word that trials
and tribulations will come, not might come. It’s how we deal with them when they do.

I’m not saying you have to be cold or unfeeling but you need to take the authority that’s been
given to you.

When the woman from Nain was going outside the city to bury her dead son, so soon after
she’d lost her husband, Jesus felt compassion for her. He told her “Do not weep”.

His sympathy did not stop at “Oh, you poor thing! I am so sorry about what has happened to
you.” No, His sympathy will move Him to give you the miracle you need in your life. That is
why He raised the widow’s son back to life!

Rest in the truth that He who is seated at the Father’s right hand today understands what you
are going through and sympathizes with your weaknesses. The compassion of Jesus toward
you causes Him to breathe life into your dead situation and turn it around for your good!

So when friends comes to you lamenting over their loss, instead of commiserating with them,
point them to Jesus and remind them that all authority in heaven and earth is ours and start
using their mouth to bring life into their situation.

97 % of Our DNA Has a Higher Purpose

7/30/2014

After thousands of years of being disconnected from higher dimensional frequencies, our DNA is finally breaking free from old patterns which have been stuck in a universal time matrix. However, humans will soon know and understand why 97% of our DNA has a higher purpose and why its transformation is leading us into an awakening that we never could have imagined.

The human genome is packed with at least four million gene switches that reside in bits of DNA that once were dismissed as “junk” but it turns out that so called, junk DNA plays critical roles in controlling how cells, organs and other tissues behave. The discovery, considered a major medical and scientific breakthrough, has enormous implications for human health and consciousness because many complex diseases appear to be caused by tiny changes in hundreds of gene switches.

As scientists delved into the “junk” — parts of the DNA that are not actual genes containing instructions for proteins — they discovered a complex system that controls genes. At least 80% of this DNA is active and needed. Another 15-17% has higher functions scientists are still decoding.

The result of the work is an annotated road map of much of this DNA, noting what it is doing and how. It includes the system of switches that, acting like dimmer switches for lights, control which genes are used in a cell and when they are used, and determine, for instance, whether a cell becomes a liver cell or a neuron.

There is evidence for a whole new type of medicine in which DNA can be influenced and reprogrammed by words and frequencies WITHOUT cutting out and replacing single genes.

Russian researchers’ findings and conclusions are simply revolutionary! According to them, our DNA is not only responsible for the construction of our body but also serves as data storage and in communication. The Russian linguists found that the genetic code, especially in the apparently useless junk DNA follows the same rules as all our human languages. To this end they compared the rules of syntax (the way in which words are put together to form phrases and sentences), semantics (the study of meaning in language forms) and the basic rules of grammar. They found that the alkalines of our DNA follow a regular grammar and do have set rules just like our languages. So human languages did not appear coincidentally but are a reflection of our inherent DNA.

The Russian biophysicist and molecular biologist Pjotr Garjajev and his colleagues also explored the vibrational behavior of the DNA. The bottom line was: “Living chromosomes function just like solitonic/holographic computers using the endogenous DNA laser radiation.” This means that they managed for example to modulate certain frequency patterns onto a laser ray and with it influenced the DNA frequency and thus the genetic information itself. Since the basic structure of DNA-alkaline pairs and of language (as explained earlier) are of the same structure, no DNA decoding is necessary.

This finally and scientifically explains why affirmations, autogenous training, hypnosis and the like can have such strong effects on humans and their bodies. It is entirely normal and natural for our DNA to react to language. While western researchers cut single genes from the DNA strands and insert them elsewhere, the Russians enthusiastically worked on devices that can influence the cellular metabolism through suitable modulated radio and light frequencies and thus repair genetic defects.

Garjajev’s research group succeeded in proving that with this method chromosomes damaged by x-rays for example can be repaired. They even captured information patterns of a particular DNA and transmitted it onto another, thus reprogramming cells to another genome. So they successfully transformed, for example, frog embryos to salamander embryos simply by transmitting the DNA information patterns! This way the entire information was transmitted without any of the side effects or disharmonies encountered when cutting out and re-introducing single genes from the DNA. This represents an unbelievable, world-transforming revolution and sensation! All this by simply applying vibration and language instead of the archaic cutting-out procedure! This experiment points to the immense power of wave genetics, which obviously has a greater influence on the formation of organisms than the biochemical processes of alkaline sequences.

This discovery also points to the significance of sound frequencies and vibrations in the origin of human life and the possibility that creation was generated by waves of consciousness. The Phantom DNA effect is a case in point: the energy field of a DNA sample remains detectable by laser light even when the physical sample is removed. At a fundamental level, man is pure energy. In Wave Genetics, the junk DNA functions at a rich infrastructure level of super codes and wave communication, realized in material form as crystalline structures– dynamic gene-holograms in liquid crystals of the chromosome continuum.

What this model suggests is that the human gene is part of larger holograms (multiverse) of wave information reality. Hyper-communication, in the form of remote sensing, remote healing and telepathy, is definitely a part of the human protocol.

Scientists are aware that 97% of our DNA is, as they call it “junk DNA”. They call it junk because they don’t see that we have any use for it. Only 3% of our DNA is wrapped up in the spiraling double helix strand. During the time of the 75,000 year cycle when we are exposed to the most torsion energy waves and it affects our DNA by reorganizing the 97% “junk” DNA from a 2-strand double helix to a 12-strand helix advancing man in a leap of evolution.

Empty space is not really empty but filled with the invisible torsion wave energy at different degrees of concentration. Thus, as the stars and planets drift through the galaxy they pass through different concentrations in very exact intervals of time, with precise cycles that can vary in length from thousands to millions of years. As planets move through periods of high concentration of these torsion waves a transformation affects the DNA structure on the planet, which causes more highly evolved forms to more rapidly replicate than less evolved forms of life. Ample evidence of this is seen to occur through our fossil records which evolution has shown this to occur in sudden jolts rather than as a gradual process. The effect has been named as “punctuated equilibrium” by mainstream biologists.

ABOUT THE AUTHOR: Michael Forrester is a spiritual counselor and is a practicing motivational speaker for corporations in Japan, Canada and the United States.

Now, let’s take what this article is telling us and apply it to what we know of Christianity.

It appears that scientists are just now discovering that our voice has power.

We know that God spoke the world into existence so that was not news to us.

We also know that when we speak His word over ourselves we can see healing manifest in our bodies. This also we knew, or if you didn’t, then maybe from what these scientist have discovered you might start to believe it.

I say that because I run across people all the time who say they believe the word of God but don’t seem to fully understand that having the power of the word of God is available for them. The bible is continually telling us to speak the things that are not as thought they are, yet we still speak the things that are and expect a different result. And we all know what that’s a definition of, insanity.

Or we wish for different than what is and hope it changes, deep down your reality is fatalistic.

These scientists have found that our voice, or sound waves, can change the way our DNA is structured. If you have unhealthy cells then you have the power to speak healthy cells to take over. These scientists say they are doing this through light and sound vibrations.

What better way is there than to illuminate your unhealthy body with than the word of God, who is light. You do that by giving voice to that word, speaking it over yourself.

I remember hearing a sermon one time about a man that was able to walk as if he had two legs, only one was missing. The pastor said that there was a phantom leg that we couldn't see but it was there because we are spirit beings and even thought the man had lost his physical leg, he still had his spiritual leg.

These scientist also said there is phantom DNA. We couldn't see it but it was still there. They said the energy of the removed DNA was still there and detectable with laser light. Wouldn’t it be interesting to apply a laser light to the area of a missing leg and see what’s there? Do you need that kind of proof?

I’ve read countless testimonies of people that have undergone surgery to have an organ removed only to have it show up later on an X-ray. I’ve not heard of any of those people asking their doctor to cut them back open and see if it’s really there, they just believed what they saw in the X-ray.

God’s word tell us that faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. Faith for a christian would be that X-ray. You believe it with your spiritual eyes and it is.

Your doctor tells you that your heart is diseased but God said that Jesus came to heal all our diseases. Which is the truth? Does your doctor have the ability to speak things into existence? God does and did, yet we believe the doctor.

If you can’t believe God then why not start with the scientific evidence that your voice has power and start using it with the word of God’s power.

Pain in your body? Start speaking healthy cells to overpower the bad causingthe pain, only remind your body that Jesus took your sickness and disease and by His stripes alone are you healed.

Eyesight getting worse and believing the lies about it being normal as you age? Speak to your eyes that as Jesus is right now, seeing clearly, so are you seeing just as clear.

Missing something on or in your body? God sees you healthy and whole not missing a thing. If we could ask any of the people who were healed by Jesus if they had a complete manifestation of what they were expecting, what do you think they would say? Maybe those 9 lepers who went away healed but not completely whole would say they don’t have leprosy anymore but the damage it did to their bodies is still there. But the one, who came back to thank Jesus, was made completely whole.

So when you are speaking to your body, don’t forget to thank the One who made it all possible. Our voice is distinctly ours. Your DNA knows your voice.

Speak to your body and receive the manifestation of wholeness. Thank Him
that even though sin entered by one man, wholeness returned through Jesus

Christ.

THE POWER TO LIVE WITHOUT SIN

2 CORINTHIANS 4:8–9
We are hard-pressed on every side, yet not crushed; we are perplexed, but not in despair; persecuted, but not forsaken; struck down, but not destroyed…

That something buoyant, which is rising from the inside of you, is the life of Christ in you!

Christ in you is the Prince of Peace (Isaiah 9:6) who says to you, “Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.” (John 14:27)

Christ in you is the way, the truth and the life (John 14:6), and He says to you, “It will all be all right. I will provide a way out for you.”

Christ in you is your victory (1 Corinthians 15:57) and He says to you, “You are not fighting for victory, but fighting from victory because you already have the victory in Me.”

Christ in you is the hope of glory. (Colossians 1:27) “Hope” in the Bible means a definite, positive expectation of good.

Christ in you is the definite, positive expectation of a glorious marriage!

Christ in you is the definite, positive expectation of a glorious family!

Christ in you is the definite positive expectation of glorious health!

Christ in you is the definite positive expectation of a glorious, prosperous life!

Christ in you is the definite, positive expectation of all the glories of God revealed to you.

You can never be destroyed or forsaken when you live knowing Christ in you is your hope of constant expectation of good.

Romans 8:1 says, Therefore there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus.

Along side with God’s glory you need to have a victorious thought life because your thoughts have the power to destroy you. Using your mind for good thoughts and not evil sin filled thoughts.

From time to time thoughts rise up in your mind that have the power to destroy you, both physically and mentally.

You need to know that there “is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus.”

Notice that this verse is in the present tense. Right now, even if at this very moment, sin filled thoughts are going through your mind, there is no condemnation because you are IN CHRIST JESUS!

What are sin filled thoughts? Any thought you have that contradicts the Word of God.

“I think I have cancer. I have diabetes. I feel run down. I’m not very smart. I’m old. My eyesight isn’t what it used to be. I have allergies. I’m bypolar. I have a nervous condition…”  And the list goes on and on.

Galatians 3:13 calls these curses and says we are no longer under the curse of the law. Go to Deuteronomy 28 and read through the list of curses. At the very end of the list it says even those things not listed. I think that would about cover everything.

I’m sure you’ve heard this, “You cannot stop birds from flying over your head, but you can certainly stop a bird from building a nest in your hair.” In the same way, you cannot stop temptations, sinful thoughts and desires from passing through your mind, but you can certainly stop yourself from acting on them. How? By using your mouth. Confess at the very moment of temptation that you are the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus and that there is therefore NOW no condemnation for you!

The power of Jesus to overcome every temptation kicks in when you remain conscious that even at the point of temptation, Jesus is still with you and that you are righteous in Him apart from your works (Romans 4:6)! When you do that, you reject the condemnation for the temptation that you are facing. You are now able to rest in your righteous identity in Christ apart from your works, and release the power of Christ in you to rise above the temptation.

That, beloved, is the overcoming life in Christ, the life we have in Christ and His righteousness!

Become A Better Listener And Reign In Life!

Have you ever been in a situation where your “gut feeling” told you one thing, but your rational mind said another? If you went with your brain rather than your intuition, there’s a good chance you ended up regretting your decision. That voice you hear is the subconscious leader that many people fail to give proper respect to. But learning to listen to the voice of this internal compass could help you make better decisions and live a more fulfilling life.

What is this internal compass? The Holy Spirit. It’s given to all who believe in the Lord Jesus Christ and speaks to those yet to believe, to lead them to Christ.

The Holy Spirit is the subtle knowing without ever having any idea why you know it. It’s different from thinking, it’s different from logic or analysis … It’s a  knowing without knowing that you knew it.

It’s unconscious reasoning, the guidance that compels you to turn left when all  signs may be pointing right. It’s often the whisper inside that can lead you to  the best results possible, if you will just learn to let go and give it a chance.

Whether it’s deciding which job to take, which direction to turn when you’re  lost, or how to handle a conflict in your family, the Holy Spirit knows better  than the rational mind. The problem is that many of us have buried that little  voice so deeply within, we have a hard time hearing or feeling where it is
guiding us.

The good news is that the Holy Spirit is still there, you merely have to learn to hear it again.

To better listen to Him, try:

1. Reading the Word: Set some time aside every day to get into God’s word.  How can you know about someone unless you spend time with Him? I’ve  found it’s best if I hear the Word and read along with it.

2. Meditate: Spend time recalling what you’ve read, simply listening to what  that still small voice is saying to you. Pick one or two verses and  concentrate on them for as long as you feel the need to. Write it down  and post it on your mirror, your computer screen, refrigerator or wherever  you know you’ll see it repeatedly.

3. Be Creative: Our Heavenly Father is a creative being. How else would He  have spoken the world into existence? You are His creation and have His  DNA. As Jesus is, so are you. Step out of your comfort zone and  experiment with writing, painting, singing and even speaking or sharing  with others. You don’t have to preach, just be an encourager.

4. Learn to listen: In general, listen to friends, families, silence, and yourself.  Know that the Holy Spirit can speak in a number of ways. The Father is  continually speaking to us. Learn to recognize His voice from all you come  in contact with.

5. Be God conscious: Learn to appreciate the little signs and signals you  receive from everything around you. Remember His word and take  comfort from it when facing everyday trials.

6. Let it go: Embrace the idea that you don’t have to control everything. Life  is going to happen whether you overthink it or not. Rest in the promise  that life is living it, one moment at a time, and no matter what comes at  you, God is always in control.

7. Stay positive and know that you are loved: Being conscious of the fact that  God loves you no matter what, helps you to hear His voice. Remembering  that He is for you and not against you should put a smile on your face and  a spring in your step.

Working on becoming more attuned to the voice of the Spirit requires you to  adopt healthier habits and a healthier mindset. These are things that are good

for your mental, emotional, and physical wellbeing. And if practiced daily, it

will lead to joy unspeakable.

Stop Striving and Start Trusting

HEBREWS 4:9
There remains therefore a rest for the people of God.

In the healing of the paralyzed man at the pool of Bethesda (John 5:1–16), Jesus knew that for 38 years, the man had been flat on his back, unable to do anything for himself or others, no matter how hard he struggled.

In the case of the woman oppressed with a spirit of infirmity (Luke 13:10–13), Jesus knew that the woman had been bowed over for 18 years. And in that condition, she saw very little that was beautiful in life, only the dusty ground, dirty sandals and bruised feet. She too tried doctors and everything she knew to do, yet, not one thing made a difference.

What about the man with a withered hand? (Luke 6:6–10) Jesus knew from His carpenter days how a useless hand could have easily given the man a very poor sense of self-worth. It doesn’t say how his hand become withered, maybe a birth defect or an accident. But I bet that man looked to his hand everyday, maybe even trying what we today call physical therapy, yet nothing changed the way his hand was.

I believe that all three of them must have struggled for so long to get back on their feet, to try to lift themselves up, to attempt to do something about their situations, only to be disappointed each time they failed. In fact, they got so frustrated with striving to get better that by the time they met Jesus, they had probably given up trying to change their situations.

It was then that Jesus came and extended His offer to turn their situations around. And when they embraced His offer, they received the miracles that they had sought for so long.

You too may have been struggling to get back on your feet, or to lift yourself out of the problem that has sorely weighed you down. You have attempted to do whatever you could, hoping that it would amount to something, but you have been frustrated time and again. My friend, God wants you to cease from all your struggling and accept the offer He extends to turn your situation around.

It is no coincidence that all three of them received their miracles on the Sabbath, the day of rest for the Jews. God’s Word says, “There remains therefore a rest for the people of God.”

The day you cease from your own laboring and striving, stop looking for ways to heal yourself, and rest in the finished work of Christ, is the day you receive your miracle.

Doctors and medicine have their purpose, to relieve pain and kill infections, but it’s only a bandaid for the real problem. There’s also successful treatments for cancer but sometime the treatment is worse than the disease itself.

Jesus has already given you your miracle. Whatever you need has been provided for at the cross. So stop searching for a man made cure and just be at rest, by trusting Jesus’ finished work and receive your miracle!

Don’t Let Fear Rob You Of Your Inheritance

7/11/2014

Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen
you, yes, I will help you, I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.
Isaiah 41:10

Moses sent 12 spies into the promised land that God wanted the Israelites to inherit.

Two of them, Joshua and Caleb, came back with a good report of the land, saying,

“The land we passed through to spy out is an exceedingly good land…‘a land which
flows with milk and honey.’ Only do not rebel against the Lord, nor fear the people of
the land, for they are our bread; their protection has departed from them, and the Lord
is with us. Do not fear them” (Numbers 14:7–9).

However, the other 10 spies gave a bad report, saying, “We are not able to go up
against the people, for they are stronger than we…There we saw the giants…and we
were like grasshoppers in our own sight, and so we were in their sight” (Numbers

13:31–33).
All 12 of them saw the same land, the same giants, but what a stark contrast in their
reports! Joshua and Caleb had a different spirit—a spirit of faith (Numbers 14:24).

They focused on the promises and goodness of God. But the rest cowered in fear and
saw only the giants. And the fear paralyzed them!

You’ve heard the phrase, “The squeaky wheel gets the grease.” 10 against 2, who
was louder? Sometimes it’s not what you’re hearing but how loudly it’s heard. And
sometimes just because more people say something, surely that has to be true, right?
But lastly, I think people like to believe the negative or what gets the most attention for
them.

Consider this, no matter how dire your circumstances may appear, choose to focus on
God’s goodness. Choose to meditate on how Christ has paid the price for you to enjoy
God’s unmerited favor, peace, protection and provision. That’s how fear will not
paralyze you. That’s how you overcome any challenge you’re facing today.

That’s how you experience God’s faithfulness and walk in His blessings!

Stop looking at the giants and start looking up. Focus on the One who delivers ALL
you’ll ever need. Be above your circumstances and not under them.

Now jump into that hammock called Grace and rest in abundant promises of God!

WHY ARE BELIEVERS SICK ?

7/9/2014

1 CORINTHIANS 11:29–30
For he who eats and drinks in an unworthy manner eats and drinks judgment to himself, not discerning (understanding) the Lord’s body. For this reason many are weak and sick among you, and many sleep.

Have you ever wondered why some Christians are weak and sick, and die young? I thank God that the Holy Spirit gives us the reason as well as the solution. In 1 Corinthians 11:29–30, He tells us clearly that one reason some Christians are weak and sick, and die prematurely, is that they don’t discern the Lord’s body when they partake of the Holy Communion.

Many believers don’t understand that the pierced, striped and slightly burnt bread, which represents the Lord’s body, is for their health and healing. And when they partake without discerning this truth, they partake in an unworthy manner. The reverse is true: If they discern or understand accurately the Lord’s body, then they will be strong and healthy, and live long.

Unfortunately, the church down through the years has misconstrued this teaching and taught that if you have sin in your life, you are unworthy and cannot partake of the Holy Communion, lest you become weak and sick, and even die! We have turned a blessing into a curse. Because of this, many Christians are afraid to come to the Lord’s table and are therefore robbed of the health-giving power of the Holy Communion.

My friend, there is no such thing as a worthy person! The best of us still miss it and fail.  And besides our failures, we allow sickness to reign, which is a form of sin.  To speak that you have something is to latch on to the very things Jesus delivered us from.  He bore our sin on the cross taking it as far as the east is from the west.  Sin entered by one man, Adam, and exited with the second Adam, Jesus.  Sin encompasses everything from murder and adultery to cancer and diabetes.  All originated in the garden and came throughout the fall of man.

So unworthy people are the only people who partake of the Lord’s Supper. But because Jesus died for unworthy people, He has qualified those of us who take Him as our righteousness to partake of every benefit that He died to give us.  Stop your mouth from disqualifying your righteousness and speak the truth of God’s word over yourself.

It is not a matter of whether you are worthy or unworthy to partake, but how you partake. Come to the Lord’s table with boldness and partake because Jesus has qualified you with His precious blood. Don’t treat it as a ritual, but release your faith for health and healing as you discern that Jesus’ body was broken so that yours can be healthy and whole today. When you partake like this, you are partaking in a worthy manner, and you will not be weak or sickly, or die prematurely!

WILL THE REAL GOSPEL PLEASE STAND UP

7/6/2014

The Gospel has been removed from the church today

When you explain the Gospel today, do you bring up the word justification? Do you bring up the word righteousness?

Romans 1:16-17
V16 For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ, for it is the power of God to salvation for everyone who believes, for the Jew first and also for the Greek.

V17 For in it the righteousness of God is revealed from faith to faith; as it is written,"The just shall live by faith."

It is THE power of God to salvation.

Salvation here means your well-being. Salvation is also the word health, wholeness, soundness, peace and prosperity.

God named his Son salvation. In the Hebrew word for salvation is Yeshuwah.

What is the power of God to salvation? It's not praying long hours, it's not fasting. It's the Gospel.

The Gospel is the power of God to salvation for everyone who believes..

Make sure you have the right Gospel. These things are serious. We've got to fight for the Gospel, not with weapons, our warfare is spiritual. It is in the minds and the thinking of people. When you think wrong, when you believe wrong, you live wrong.

When you believe right, you live right.

Today what is being preached is you have to live right, live right, live right. But that's doesn't cause people to live right.

It is changing their minds, which is the word repentance that causes people to live right. When they change their minds, they will live right.

In verse 17 it says in it the righteousness of God is revealed. What is the "it"? It is the righteousness of God being revealed to the people. Not the sinfulness of man. It's implied man is sinful, that's why we need the righteousness of God.

But this righteousness is from faith to faith to faith. It's not that by the grace of God we begin in faith and then go on in our performance. No it's from faith to faith to faith all the way, until we see Jesus' face. And holiness is a byproduct of this.

We have lost the Gospel today. Where are the young men and women preaching justification by faith? That's what the gospel is all about. It's not telling the world you have to stop this or don't do that. If you're messed up as an unbeliever you're not messed up because you're not doing something right. You're messed up because the world is messed up.

Because of the sin in the garden of Eden by Adam and Eve.

It's silly to complain about a drunk person acting drunk. You're wasting your breath. Bring the solution into his life.

Drunk people act drunk. Sinners sin. What a revelation! Why are we shocked?

Believers believe. So is it a misnomer to have an unbelieving believer? But there are unbelieving believers. Don't forget your normal habitat is faith, belief.

And this belief is what? You know we believe God for healing, for finances to pay bills, for our children to be blessed, for our families to be blessed. We believe God for so many things our faith can be dissipated.

But God says seek first, His kingdom and His righteousness, not your righteousness, and all these things will be

added to you. Use your faith every day to believe you are righteous by faith.

That's what's missing in Christianity today.

Will the real gospel please stand up!

Rest and Receive from Jesus !

Rest is not inactivity. It is Holy Spirit-directed activity.

What I'm talking about here is inward rest. It is about first receiving from Jesus His peace, His grace and His wisdom.

It is about letting the Holy Spirit in us lead us to do the right things at the right time, with the most amazing God-kind of results.

Let us take a look at the story of two sisters, Martha and Mary, from the Bible:
One day, Jesus visited their home, and Martha immediately got busy serving Him. Mary, on the other
hand, sat at Jesus' feet to listen to Him teach.

After a while, Martha got angry and said to Jesus, "Lord, do You not care that my sister has left me to serve alone? Therefore tell her to help me" (Luke 10:40).

Based on Middle Eastern culture, when you have guests over at your home, you ought to prepare to look after their needs. So Martha wasn't doing anything wrong; in fact, in the natural she was doing what was right.

Yet Jesus' response to Martha's complaint was this: "Martha, Martha, you are worried and troubled about many things. But one thing is needed, and Mary has chosen that good part, which will not be taken away from her" (Luke 10:41–42).

Our Lord gently rebuked Martha and defended Mary.

Notice Jesus didn't rebuke Martha for her service. He showed her how she was "worried and troubled about many things." And He told her that "one thing is needed"—sitting at His feet and listening to His words.

Is it practical to just be occupied with Jesus? Absolutely.

When you rest, Jesus will cause you to receive His inexhaustible grace, wisdom and supply.

Beloved, you don't have to feel like you have to go through each day struggling and striving to please
God so He can make things work in your favor.

Catch this revelation—God is already pleased with you, because God is pleased with His Son, Jesus (see Matthew 3:17). You can rest. The work is finished. Jesus has provided everything you'll ever need!

God wants to reveal His goodness to you. He wants to bless you in ways greater than you can ever imagine.

If you’re dealing with a financial struggle,
  • If you’re in need of healing in your body,
  • If you’re struggling in your marriage,
  • If your child is going down the wrong path,
Do the one thing that’s necessary—rest in the Lord’s presence and receive from Him! Place your focus

If you aren’t sure what decision to make for your future... in the midst of your struggle, on Him.

The Lord is your provision, your healing, your restoration and your wisdom. When you look to Him, He will be everything you need.

Remember, whatever you need in your life today, look to Jesus. It’s not about your limitations; it’s about His love. It’s not about your goodness; it’s about His grace.

Jesus has provided everything you need. All you have to “do” is rest and receive from Him.

You Too Can Walk On Water

MATTHEW 14:27
But immediately Jesus spoke to them, saying, “Be of good cheer! It is I; do not be afraid.”

What are you facing today that has you hinting it's only a matter of time before you go under? Do you feel alone, not knowing which way to turn?

Be comforted that Jesus sees what you are going through and He always comes to where you are in your darkest hour. He did that for His disciples one stormy night on the Sea of Galilee. Jesus came, walking on the stormy waters, walking on top of the problem that was threatening to overwhelm them. He is indeed the King and Lord over the storms!

When your eyes are on Christ, even though the storms are raging and the winds are blowing, you will know that you are above your troubles and circumstances. When people ask you how you are doing under the circumstances, tell them, “I am not under the circumstances. I am on top of them because my God is above all!”

Don’t be fearful. He will come to you walking on the stormy waters. Hear His comforting voice telling you, “Be of good cheer! It is I; do not be afraid.”

And as you behold Jesus, you become like Him. You will find yourself doing things you did not know you could do. You will, like Peter, walk on water. This happens when you are occupied with the person of Jesus, with His resources, love, wisdom, ability, power and majesty.

Even during the times when you take your eyes off Jesus, He never takes His eyes off you. And when you cry out to Him, He will immediately stretch out His hand to catch hold of you. You will not go under.

There may be times that you are not able to find your way back. Jesus will then hold your hand and walk you back to the boat. And like Peter, you will realize that with your hand in His, the storm will come to a standstill!

A TODAY MIRACLE

JOHN 11:40
Jesus said to her, “Did I not say to you that if you would believe you would see the glory of God?”

God, who parted the Red Sea, rained manna from heaven, caused the walls of Jericho to fall, shut the lions’ mouths, healed the sick, raised the dead and calmed the sea, still performs miracles today.

However, some Christians doubt that God wants to work a miracle for them today. They believe that there were miracles when Jesus walked the earth, but they think that the day of miracles is over. And they talk about how everything will be perfect one day in the sweet by and by. But God wants us to know that He is still the God of miracles today.

Martha was like one of those Christians. She wondered if Jesus could perform a miracle when her brother Lazarus died. By the time Jesus arrived on the scene, Lazarus had already been dead for four days. So she thought that Jesus was four days too late. That is why she said, “Lord, if You had been here, my brother would not have died.” (John 11:21) And even when Jesus said that Lazarus would rise again, she said, “I know that he will rise again in the resurrection at the last day.” (John 11:24)

Martha believed that Jesus could perform miracles in the past and would do the same in the future, but she did not believe that He could give her a miracle when she needed it right then. You see, Martha was someone who lived wishing that the past could be changed and believing that the future would be better. But she did not believe that the “I Am” was there to meet her present need. Is that how you're living your life?

Today, God stands at the point of your need. What miracle do you need from Him? Believe that He is still the same miracle-working God today. Believe that you will see the glory of God. Believe and you will see your miracle!

You Cannot, But God Can

Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might.

When you say, “I can manage this problem by myself, Lord,” God says, “Okay, you do it then.” But when you say, “Help me, Lord! I need You. I cannot do this on my own,” God says, “Good, I have been waiting for you to say that. You cannot, but I can. Now, watch Me!” That is how God is—He loves it when you depend on Him.

You see, when you think that you are strong and don’t need God, He cannot help you. But when you need Him and look to Him, He will not leave you weak and helpless. He comes and becomes the strength of your life. He becomes the breakthrough that you need.

It is not about self-discipline or willpower that would help you overcome, but the power of God. True deliverance will not come by your own strength, but by “[being] strong in the Lord and in the power of His might”.

So when you say, “I can do something about it,” you are still relying on your human strength. But when you say to God, “I cannot, but You can,” you have just tapped into the real source of your strength—Jesus. And as you rest in His strength, you will see His power manifesting in your life!

Your Healing is Part of the Deal!

He who did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him up for us all, how shall He not with Him also freely give us all things?
Romans 8:32

If there’s one thing that God wants you to know and believe, it’s how much He loves you and is willing to heal you. How much does He love you? He was willing to give up His beloved Son Jesus—heaven’s best—for you.

Now, once you realize how much God loves Jesus, ask yourself this: If God willingly gave Jesus up for me, would He withhold healing from me?

If God withholds healing from you after He has already given you Jesus, then it would mean that your healing is greater or more important than Jesus.

No my friend, God has already given you heaven’s best. How will He not also freely give you all things, including the healing and wholeness you desire?

Whether you are trusting God for, catch a fresh revelation of His heart to heal you and restore to you today. Come EXPECTANTLY to Him and receive wholeness in all areas of your life!

How Normal Is Healing?

6/8/2014

If 2/3 Jesus' ministry dealt with healing you'd think that healing today would be an accepted reality. Amazingly enough, it isn't.

Most people, Christians included, do not think healing is possible today, or if they do, it's not for them. In other words, they believe miracles are possible, they've heard of them happening, but they don't believe a miracle will happen for them. And you know what? It won't.

The bible tells us that life and death are in the power of the tongue. That means that our tongue has power. The words we speak produce results. If you say something won't happen for you, it won't. But that doesn't seem fair, right? Why not? If you say something will happen for you and it does. Does that seem fairer?

Why are we so hesitant to speak good over ourselves and so quick to speak bad? Is it because usually the bad already has a symptom to go along with it? Symptoms can be fact in our bodies but they are not truth. Even an X-Ray is a visual fact but it's still not the truth.

Truth is, by His stripes, the punishment Jesus took in our place, we ARE healed. Not waiting to be but already are. Our healing has been sitting on a shelf for over 2000 years waiting for us to take it down and strap it on.

When Jesus raised Lazarus from the dead He told the people to remove his grave clothes. Lazarus was wearing the stench of death and until he removed those garments he would continue to smell like death.

We wear those same garments when we talk about sickness and disease. We are actually clothing ourselves with grave clothes. When you speak the word over yourself you are actually dressing yourself with life. Death no longer has dominion over you. You are a sweet fragrance to The Lord instead of the stench of death.

Which garments will you put on everyday? Will you change clothes 50 times a day like a child playing dress up, wavering between life and death?

After it says life and death are in the power of the tongue, it goes on to give you the how. It tells us to choose life. How do you do this? By speaking the truth and not the facts.
